r-other-rot software package provides GNU R package of few tools needed by OpenTURNS, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install r-other-rot
r-other-rot is installed in your system.
Make ensure the r-other-rot package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep r-other-rot *
You will get with r-other-rot package name, version, architecture and description in a table
